Synopsis

Summary:

Leela is going to get married in a few day but unfortunately, she and her groom have an accident. Her groom dies but she survives. Kid, their litigant, also loses his wife in that accident either. Anyway, he helps Leela for her medical treatment costs and take care and restore her mind’s state.

After he knows about Leela, he falls in love with her and proposes her to marry him. Though she doesn’t love him, she accepts to marry him. Later, when she knows that he has a son named Kawee, she want to take revenge with him because Kawee is a guy who she used to fall in love with when she was young, but he returns her with his arrogance.

Kid allows Leela to bring her family to live with him, so she bring her younger sister, Narin, younger brother, Rermrerk and her mother to live together. That enrages Kawee who disagree with his father’s new marriage. When he knows that his new stepmother is younger than him and she is Leela, he hate her family too. He often quarrels with his father until one day, Kid is too tense because of quarreling with his son and has a heart attack and dies. Kawee is very sorry that he causes his father’s death.

After Kid’s funeral, his will is revealed to halve his property for Kawee and Leela, but he doesn’t allow them to sell his house. Kawee and Leela’s family live in the same house separately, but Leela who loves and hates Kawee keep nagging and argueing with him. Kawee hates his stepmother because he thinks that she steal his father’s love from him.

When Kawee live in the same house with Narin, he always put his hatred and anger on sweet Narin, Leela’s sister, everytime when he quarrels with Leela. With Narin’s beauty and her sharp talk, Kawee involuntarily falls in love with her and keep being jealous of Pawan, a guy who has a crush on her.

Leela (Natharika), chị gái của nữ chính Narin (Ann) thời học sinh rất thích Kawee (Ken), công tử nhà giàu có tính cách khó ưa. Leela bày tỏ tình cảm với Kawee và bị anh từ chối thẳng thừng và làm mất mặt. Năm năm sau, Leela có bạn trai chuẩn bị cưới. Không may, Kid- bố của Kawee lái xe gây tai nạn, khiến bạn trai Leela qua đời. Trong quá trình chăm sóc Leela, Kid đem lòng yêu cô. Khi biết Kid là bố Kawee, mặc dù không yêu ông nhưng Leela quyết định kết hôn với Kid, để trả thù Kawee.

Leela trở thành mẹ kế của Kawee. Cả gia đình cô dọn đến sống ở nhà Kawee, khiến anh rất tức giận. Leela trở thành cái gai trong mắt Kawee. Narin lại luôn coi thường Kawee khiến anh luôn trút cơn giận dữ vào cô. Một lần, Leela giả bộ khiến Kid mắng chửi Kawee. Kawee đã bắt cóc Narin đến ngôi biệt thự của anh và xâm phạm cô. Narin vô cùng đau khổ nhưng vì người thân trong gia đình, cô cắn răng chịu đựng. Tom luôn ở bên cạnh an ủi cô. Tom là người đàn ông tốt, yêu thầm Narin từ lâu.Sau khi Kid qua đời, Narin lặng lẽ bỏ nhà ra đi. Lúc này, Kawee dần ý thức, bản thân anh không thể sống thiếu Narin nên anh đi tìm cô. Narin phát hiện mình có thai. Cô nói với Kawee, đứa bé trong bụng không phải là con của anh, khiến Kawee rất đau khổ.

Sợ bị Kawee làm phiền, Narin lại bỏ đi nơi khác. Lúc này, Tom nói cho Kawee biết tất cả sự thật. Kawee vội vàng đi tìm Narin với quyết tâm, nếu không tìm ra cô, anh sẽ không trở về.

Mất nhiều thời gian và công sức, Kawee mới tìm ra Narin. Nhưng Kawee để lại vết thương lòng quá sâu, khiến cô không thể tha thứ cho anh...

Synopsis

Goo Ae Jung (Gong Hyo Jin) is a struggling celebrity in dire need of a second chance. She was a member of the girl group sensation Kook Bo So Nyeo. Due to undisclosed reasons, the group disbanded. Amidst all the media speculations of in-group fighting and scandals, everything was somehow blamed on Ae Jung. Ten years later, Ae Jung is still living with the stigma of her tarnished image, unlike her fellow group member Kang Se Ri (Yoo In Na), who is smugly enjoying her A-list status.
In comes Dokko Jin (Cha Seung Won). Apparently, he is the best action star in all of Korea. He is famous, well-loved and quite the debonair (or at least that’s what he thinks). He is currently Se Ri’s boyfriend/lover publicly despite their break up months ago. He had a serious heart problem and needs to constantly monitor and keep his heart rate between 60-90bpm. However, his heart rate shoots up to the 120′s whenever Ae Jung is around or when he is reminded of her. He gets entangled in Ae Jung’s quest to achieve respectability in the show business.
Ae Jung’s big break finally comes as a contestant in a match-making show “Couple Making” which is hosted by Se Ri. She meets Dr. Yoon Pil Joo (Yoon Kye Sang) who must choose between her and four lovelier, younger, more famous women. To everyone’s surprise, the doctor is taken in by Ae Jung’s sweetness, sincerity and earnestness. He seeks her out and goes out of his way to protect her from the public’s scorn.
Their connection worries Se Ri as she intended to humiliate Ae Jung from the start, expecting her to be booted off at the first episode. When this didn’t happen, she tries to appeal to the oblivious Pil Joo, to no avail. To make matters worse for Se Ri, her supposed lover, Jin, has been spotted dating a mystery woman. Se Ri has no idea that the woman that Jin has been wooing despite the threat of breaching a huge commercial film contract is non-other than Ae Jung.
Who will be Ae Jung’s ticket to fame? Will it be Pil Joo – the wealthy doctor, searching for love? Or will it be Dokko Jin who is trying to win her, knowing that she might drag his career down with her? Or will Se Ri succeed in finally ruining Ae Jung’s public image irrevocably?
