SYNOPSIS:
Based on the best seller novels The Lives of SungKyunKwan Confucian Scholars 1&2 of Jung Eun Gweol, SungKyunKwan Scandal is a Chosun Dynasty youth story that deals with the love, friendship and passion of a quartet on SungKyunKwan college.
When her younger brother falls ill, Kim Yoon Hee enters the school in his place disguised as a boy in her desperation to find a way to support him, and becomes friends with Lee Sun Joon, a perfectionist who is also the brains of the gang, playboy Goo Yong Ha and the rebellious Moon Jae Shin.

Moon Jae Shin
"Growing up, he watched his father's opportunistic political actions. As opposed to his father, he looked up to his older brother, Young Shin. After Young Shin gets killed along with Yoon Hee's father, Kim Seung Hun, by the Noron faction, he feels anger towards his father who kept silent despite his own son's death in order to retain his position.
Jae Shin enters Sungkyunkwan in order to seek revenge against his father. He wanted to do a different kind of politics than that of his father's generation. Upon seeing the division at Sungkyunkwan by the Noron and Soron factions, he despairs and believes that there is no hope for Joseon.
At first, Yoon Hee was just his roommate at Sungkyunkwan. After finding out that Yoon Hee is a woman, and moreover, the daughter of Kim Seung Hun, he vows to protect her as his own sister. As watching over her becomes a habit and his second instinct, he wishes that he can spend the rest of his life with her like this."
